Racing with Patience in the Company of Witnesses
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset {us}, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
— Hebrews 12:1
May we be people who finish well, who run with patience and perseverance, and who give glory to God in all that we do. May we be inspired by the stories of those who've gone before us and may we be a source of encouragement to those who come after us.
Prayer
Lord, help me to run with patience the race that's set before me. Give me strength to persevere and courage to face challenges head-on. May I be a witness to your faithfulness and a source of encouragement to others.
