A New Creation in Christ
Therefore if any man {be} in Christ, {he is} a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. {he is: or, let him be}
— 2 Corinthians 5:17
Today's verse reminds us that when we put our faith in Christ, we become a new creation. The old things - our sin, our struggles, our fears - are passed away. In their place, a new life emerges, full of hope and possibility. As a new creation, we are free to walk in the light of God's love and live a life that honors Him. This is not just a spiritual reality, but a tangible experience that transforms every area of our lives. We are new, and all things are become new.
Prayer
Dear Lord, help us to see ourselves as new creations in You. Empower us to walk in the light of Your love and live a life that reflects Your character. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
