A New Creation in Christ
Therefore if any man {be} in Christ, {he is} a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. {he is: or, let him be}
— 2 Corinthians 5:17
Today, we're reminded that being in Christ brings about a profound transformation. When we put our faith in Him, we become a new creature, free from the old patterns and habits that once held us back. It's a beautiful truth that all things become new - our hearts, our minds, our souls. The old is gone, and the new has arrived. This new creation in Christ is not just a feeling or a decision, but a reality that is rooted in the power of God's love. As we walk in this new life, we're called to put off the old and put on the new, to live out the character of Christ in every aspect of our lives.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for making us new creations in Christ. Help us to live out this new life, to put off the old and put on the new, and to walk in the power of Your love. In Jesus' name, Amen.
